Northern Stage's 40th birthday project

We are very excited to be producing a project for Northern Stage theatre, as part of their 40th birthday celebrations throughout 2010. We now proudly present the newly launched project website here at www.northernstages.co.uk (Huge thanks to Band X and Supanaught.)
The project consists of 40 conversations about Northernness, with artists from around the world, in the form of theatre productions, exhibitions, special live events and online projects. We’ve begun to pull together an exciting programme, with several projects already announced here. Keep checking back for updates, as we climb our way to 40 conversations.
We really wanted to engage with the theatre’s audience, and create an interesting legacy for the project. As such we commissioned a dynamic online mapping project Northe, by Alistair Colling and Tom Storey. Please contribute and explore.
