The Dream Agency

I worked with award-winning artist collective Forest Fringe on their feature film Dream Agency, shot on the Island of Jersey in 2019.

Forest Fringe teamed up with ArtHouse Jersey to try and shoot an entire full-length feature film in four weeks using a cast and crew made up almost entirely of Forest Fringe artists and local volunteers. The film was shot at a range of striking locations, from beaches and headlands to abandoned cottages and a former Victorian military barracks.

The film was a totally not-for-profit project, operating on a fraction of the budget of most traditional films, with the aim of finding a new way of working that brings together professionals and amateurs to create a story in an entirely collaborative way, from first conception, through scriptwriting and into the shooting of the film itself. 

The film premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2022.
